Little Dog Garden Boutique Dog Daycare

Overview

Little Dog Garden is a boutique dog daycare nestled in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, located in the iconic Chophouse Row. As a brand-new business, the client approached me early in the process—before doors opened—to help build a cohesive, memorable identity from the ground up.

Challenge

With no existing branding or digital presence, the challenge was to craft an identity that reflected the business’s personality and location: urban yet cozy, playful yet polished. The goal was to attract local dog owners in a competitive market while establishing a brand that could scale with future growth.

Brand Development

I began by developing the brand’s visual identity, including logo design, typography, color palette, and tone of voice. The result was a clean, friendly, and approachable look that resonated with pet lovers while feeling right at home in the stylish Chophouse Row complex.

Comprehensive Brand Guide

I created a full brand guide to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. This included visual assets and brand usage instructions, enabling the client to confidently apply the branding across print and digital media.

Custom WordPress Theme

I designed and developed a responsive, user-friendly website on a custom WordPress theme tailored to Little Dog Garden’s needs. It was important to the client that they were able to update pricing and employee details, so I made sure to walk them through the process of making updates after the site was deployed.

Brand in Action

The branding was applied across a wide range of media: sandwich board signs, branded hats, interior and exterior signage, and more. This consistent presence reinforced the brand’s visibility and professionalism in the local community.
